I was dismayed this afternoon when my wife told me my 6-year-old son wasn’t actually mine.
She then said I need to pay more attention at school pick up.
This reminds me of a time when I was picking up Tyler from school in Wisconsin and he started to get into a van that looked just like ours parked in front of me.
It definitely shook him up a bit when he realized he was getting in a car with a stranger!
Life is filled with so many things that can get our focus off where we need it to be. Health, finances, job issues, parenting, etc. Not all those things are bad, but they can be so challenging that we can forget that we serve a Savior that walks through all this stuff with us. We are never alone!
Let God give you peace today in whatever you are going through.
Isaiah 26: 3 reminds us:
You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
