Pastor Bruce began serving as pastor at Mt. Pleasant, August 2009. He has been in full-time ministry since 1992, serving pastorates in Rochester and Indianapolis, Indiana, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His favorite thing about being a pastor is to see people come to know Christ in a personal way and then for them to impact their sphere of influence for Christ. He enjoys fishing and golf. Pastor Bruce has been married to Marti for 31 years and they have three grown children: Tyler, Katie and Jared. And a beautiful granddaughter, Arowyn.

Brian Vance (and his family) began attending Mount Pleasant Church in 2012. Brian and his Wife Anna quickly connected with the Young Adult small group, and his children enjoyed the children’s ministries at Mount Pleasant. Brian joined the Praise Band as the drummer, and later was asked to be the leader of the praise band -where is mostly plays guitar. Brian enjoys fast motorcycles, smoking various meats, and being silly with his kids. Brian has been married to his wife Anna for 10 years, and they have three wonderful children. Max, 6, Ameila, 4, and Julia (5 months).
