“Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones. And when you have finished your daily task, go to sleep in peace. God is awake.”
If you are anything like me, the time when I worry the most is at night when I wake up and start thinking about things. Why this Lord, why that Lord?
The quote above is a great reminder that God is always there. He is aware of everything that we are going through…everything we are thinking about. We are not alone because God is never asleep.
The Psalmist (121: 4) puts it this way:
Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.
Whatever you are going through, God is ever present and ever aware…and He loves you!
