that God would grant what I hope for…Job 6: 8What strength do I have, that I should still hope?
What prospects, that I should be patient? Job 6: 11
Most everyone is familiar with the story of Job. God allowed Satan to try him and he lost pretty much everything: family, friends, his livelihood and more.
In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing. Job 6: 22
Life can sure throw us some curve balls. Things can be so overwhelming that we just feel like giving up and throwing in the towel.
But Job’s story reminds us that God is in control and even when all things seem lost, He is still there and working in our lives. Job kept the faith…and kept the faith…and kept the faith.
The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.
I encourage you to pray for one another today. And if you know someone that is going through “A Job Season” why not reach out to them and share the love of Jesus.
